Under 19 World Cup Review

A few days ago, the youth of India won the fourth under-19 World Cup. As usual, this time also under-19 World Cup tournament gave us some stars.
Under 19 World Cup is a very good platform that encourages youth to give their best. From the Under-19 World Cup, we have got some great players who have also played international cricket for India. The biggest example of this is Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli is one of the greatest batsmen of the world today.
India won the Under 19 World Cup 2nd time under Virat Kohl's Captaincy . Due to his outstanding performance in the 2008 World Cup, Kohli made his One Day International (ODI) debut in same year.
Now talking about the 2018 Under-19 World Cup, once again this tournament has given us some good players and maybe they can be seen in the Indian team soon.
Well, the whole team has done a great job in this World Cup, But if we talking about the best 5 then that name will be -

1. Shubman Gill :
Shubhaman has emerged as the most successful batsman in Indian batting. At the same time, he was the second highest run-getter in the tournament by making 372 runs.
Gill achieved the Man of the Match in three consecutive matches. Shubhaman made the first century against India against Pakistan. Gill was dropped as an opener against Zimbabwe. Gill was also hit in this role and he played 90 runs. Shubhaman also had additional weight as the vice-captain of the team.

2. Prithvi Shaw (Captain) :
Captain of the Indian team, Prithvi Shaw, has done a fantastic job as a batsman besides the captain. Prithvi scored 261 runs in 5 innings of the tournament with a strike rate of 94.56. As an opener, he gave the team a solid start. There was not much pressure on the batsmen coming forward from their innings. Although the world could score 29 runs in the final, but in the first match against Australia, he scored his best in the tournament, scoring 94 runs.

3. Manjot Kalra :
Manjot Kalra, the left-handed batsman from Punjab, had  kept his best for the final. Kalra's unbeaten 101 in the final was given place in the top-3 Indian batsmen. Kalra scored 252 runs at an average of 84.00 in five innings of 6 matches.

4. Anukul Roy :
Left-arm spinner bowler Roy made two wickets for 32 runs in the title match against Australia, and with this Roy is in the top of the list of most wicket-takers with 14 wickets.
Roy took 14 wickets  in six matches played in the tournament. Their over rate  was also quite economical. He threw 33 overs with economy rate of 3. 84 in the tournament. His best was 5 wickets for 14 runs.

5. Kamlesh Nagarkoti :
This fast bowler of India has troubled the opposition batsmen very much. It is difficult to keep the batsmen in front of their pace. Nagarkoti, who bowled at a speed of 149 km, was an important part of Indian bowling. Nargarkoti took 9 wickets in 6 matches. Their strength was not just speed. He used to curb the speed of runs at the right time. Although they have not won any wicket in the semi-final against Pakistan, they have given only seven runs in five overs with one maidan over.
